ARLINGTON, Va. – Cordiem, the aviation industry’s first
online marketplace that is jointly owned by buyers and sellers, has hired two
managers to lead its sales and service activities in Europe, Africa and the
Middle East. Thierry Kolton has been appointed Cordiem’s country manager
for France and Spain, and Alan Rutter has been named senior account
manager for the United Kingdom, as well as Africa and the Middle East. Both are
new positions for the company.
Based in
Cordiem’s Paris office, Kolton will serve Air France, Iberia and other clients
in the region. Previously, Kolton was managing director of France and Southern Europe for Quality Systems and
Software, which serves the defence and aerospace markets. He has more than 17
years of sales and marketing experience with information technology companies.
Rutter, who has 10 years of experience in the B2B aviation market, will be based in Cordiem’s United Kingdom office in London and will service British Airways and other clients in the region. Prior to joining Cordiem, Rutter was aviation sales manager of Europe, Asia and the Middle East for Inventory Locator Service, LLC.
